CAVE ROYET
Catherine and Roland Royet, now joined by their son Antoine, set up their estate in 1991 in Ménétrol. The family settled in the heart of the Châteauguay vineyards, which benefit from a micro-climate unique in the Auvergne. Using organic farming methods, the winery produces Blanc Bourassol, a dry, fruity wine with citrus notes, Rouge Les Côteaux, a strong volcanic "terroir" with spicy accents, and Rouge Vieilles Vignes, made from century-old Gamay vines and 30% Pinot Noir. All this hard work has been rewarded with the AOC Côtes d'Auvergne label!
