Small oil mill eco-museum in Vela Luka where you can learn about the cultivation of olives and the production of natural oil.
At the entrance of Vela Luka (3 kilometres from the centre), coming from Korčula, you arrive at a traditional oil mill. In fact, the Zlokić family has transformed part of its old olive press into a small eco-museum. The visit is a good introduction (or a reminder for those who are familiar with it) to olive growing and the production of natural oil, a key sector in the Vela Luka countryside. And of course we offer you a tasting-sale at the small shop.
