HRVATSKI DOM VIGANJ - KUVENAT
Dominican monastery with a restaurant under the arches of the atrium, a cloister with floor, a museum of the sea and exhibitions.
Dominican monastery built from 1671 to 1715, abandoned one hundred years later. In 1910, the municipality bought the complex. Inside, one is surprised to discover a restaurant under the baroque arches of the atrium, an elegant cloister, a museum of the sea, permanent exhibitions (archaeology, historical paintings and photographs) and temporary exhibitions (local artists and craftsmen). A spiritual place that has become a friendly cultural center (concerts, films, meetings, vernissages).
