The staff here told us that the insurance included in our credit card was not valid, and that we had to buy additional insurance. Our credit card absolutely includes rental car insurance, which I confirmed with my bank. Nope, Sixt refused it, adding EUR400 to our trip.
Then, Sixt customer service later told us that we could have declined the insurance. The whole experience felt like a scam on foreign tourists.
Location - in a nice hotel, and the car was just across the street. Check-out did not take long.
The valet man was very unmotivated and impolite, who did not even tell me the confusing parking exit.
Not a bad car, but BE careful of the staffs.

Check in and out was very fast and all the cars are brand new

When I returned car in Split Airport, girl at reception told me that there was an scratch on driver wheel arch which was not notified on the car. In that moment, I thought it was a joke camera filming… car completely damaged on driver side and girl claiming a scratch which it was already on vehicle, thanks that I had pictures of all areas before driving.
I have written 3 emails to costumer services with not answer.
I extremely disapointed. I will not rent a car anymore with Sixt.
