Dubrovnik's Stradun is the place to be! Open-air concerts, fireworks and, of course, lots of people in the medieval city as well as in the rest of the town. New Year's Eve is traditionally celebrated around the dinner table at home with family or friends, but before and after the meal, it's in the bars that Ragusans meet up. So you can meet them as you pass from one terrace to the next. Everyone will be outside, huddled in their coats and close to the cafés' heated umbrellas.
