The old town comes alive! Illuminations, street entertainment, music, Christmas market and of course lots of good food.

In many parts of the city (even in Gruž!), until early January, winter festivities take place, with city lights, street entertainment, classical concerts in churches, traditional music, pop-rock, carols, Advent festivities and much more. Around the Porte Pile and along the Stradun, an attractive Christmas market is held every year, featuring a range of local products (sausages, charcuterie, cheeses, wines, etc.).
