Banje is one of Dubrovnik's most popular beaches (and therefore crowded in season). It lies to the east of the old town harbor, just past the Ploče gate, and offers a beautiful view of the medieval city and the island of Lokrum. Partly sandy, it is equipped with showers and deckchairs are available for hire. During the day, there are numerous activities on offer (jet-skiing, kayaking, etc.), while in the evening the place transforms into a trendy open-air nightclub. Half the page belongs to the Banje Beach club.
