The birthplace of the great Croatian playwright has been transformed into a museum. It traces the life of Marin Držić and presents some of his most important works. This is an opportunity to enter a beautiful Ragusan house and meet one of its most famous citizens. A citizen of Europe who travelled extensively and lived part of his life in Italy (he is buried in Venice), Držić was inspired by Ragusan society to write his comedies. The museum also houses a small souvenir corner.
