The birthplace of the great Croatian playwright has been transformed into a museum. It traces Marin Držić's career and presents some of his most important works. It's an opportunity to enter a beautiful Ragusan home and meet one of its most famous citizens. A citizen of Europe who traveled extensively and lived part of his life in Italy (he is buried in Venice), Držić drew inspiration for his comedies from Ragusan society. The museum also houses a small souvenir corner.
