This is Dubrovnik's only large park. Covering an area of 43 hectares in the heart of Lapad, the Velika i Mala Petka park (named after the two hills that make it up) is an ideal place for a walk in the shade and away from the crowds. A few kilometers' walk through pine woods leads to the summit, where you'll enjoy a 360-degree view of the Lapad district, the old town in the distance, the bridge and the islands. It's a pleasant walk, sometimes with some steep climbs.
