On the other side of the Stradun, the configuration changes. The alleyways aren't much wider, but there are many more perpendicular alleys. You'll then come to Ulica od Puća, the main artery of this shopping district, which leads you to the market square, Gundulićeva Poljana, with the statue of the poet Ivan Gundulić from 1893. It's on this square that you'll find fruit and vegetables sold mainly by locals as soon as the sun rises.
