The chef Thierry Bernard and his wife Jacqueline manage the large room of the castle of Mezel, with a name evocative of good eating. The chef makes you discover foreign and local flavors. The setting is rather old-fashioned, contrary to what one might imagine from the outside, but the welcome is like the cuisine, just right. The wine list honors the local producers. The plates are nicely presented. The establishment also offers a catering service. And one of the huge rooms allows you to organize meals with many place settings.
