With its large vaulted dining room, exposed stone walls and candle-lit patio-terrace, the Vinodol restaurant seduces with its decoration. Traditional Croatian dishes are served here, grilled meats, including lamb or veal peka, cooked over a wood fire, pasta with black truffles or more simply a plate of cold meats and Dalmatian cheeses accompanied by regional or Italian wines. A vegetarian dish as well. A good sign, the presence of locals mingling with tourists. Reservation recommended.

It offers all the good Croatian specialities, I recommend steaks cooked on the grill, delicious. The service is professional and friendly which is rare in Croatia. -) The wine list is not cheap and there are few wines by the glass. Prices more than the average, but it is worth it. A good address in Zagreb.
