More than sixty years of experience and still present in the middle of the trendy addresses of the capital and in a street where restaurants compete (on the1st floor, Ribice i tri Tockice), this establishment offers Dalmatian specialties and more widely from the Adriatic coast. A fisherman's cuisine, soup, carpaccio, grilled fish of the day, shellfish, of course, southern vegetables but also the famous traditional cakes of Korčula. Beware, however, that you have to pay for the bread! Impressive wine list of the island or the Pelješac peninsula

Njegova srdacnost,preciznost,elegantan humor,posvecenost,nenametljivost.
Sve je izbruseno do savrsenstva.
Tko zeli raditi ovaj posao, ili tko ga radi i zeli biti jos bolji, neka dode na samo njegovih 30 posto….
Biti ce medu najboljima.

Ambijent predivan,otmjen,uredan.
Sve u svemu, tesko je tu ista napraviti da bude bolje.

We didn't have much time and money to spend, so we ordered simple fish soup and tasted some of the local wine. The soup could be a bit richer, but for that price it was allright. The wine though... We tried Slavonian Grasevina, not the cheapest of wines, but it was simply on another level. I was surprised that such a wonderful wine wasn't too expensive. It's something that resembles a demi-sec Riesling, but richer in taste.
The restaurant is of a slow-food kind. There weren't many guests and waiters didn't hurry to stuff our faces with food, they rather let us to enjoy the moment. Maybe, if the waiter came around and asked us how we liked the wine (it is a regular habit that after you get your table served, the waiter comes around and asks whether everything is in good order, but not so much in this place), I'm sure we'd order another bottle of wine. So we didn't. Then we ordered some tea and sweets and rounded up our great experience of this place. For just a little over 10€ per person we were more than satisfied.
Verdict: if you are in a hurry and just want a quick meal on your way from Ban Jelacic to Railway station, this is not the right place. But if you have plenty of time, do spend it here, look at the Tesla monument - always a conversation starter whether you want to talk about the inventor himself or the equally genius author of the monument, the one and only Mestrovic. Frankly, it if wasn't for the monument, we'd probably stop elsewhere.

Excellent food, wine and dessert. Local croatia food with modern twist. A valued fine dining option. Their truffle pasta is very good. Best to make a reservation first.
