Hi Hostel Stara pekara is located in Osijek, in the Old Town - the Baroque Tvrđa, near the Osijek promenade, along the Drava River, in the recently renovated building of the former Austro-Hungarian military bakery built in the mid-18th century. In the Stara pekara (English: Old Bakery) building you will still see original parts of the bakery and a number of preserved and protected drawings and labels made by the soldiers of that time. The inn opened in May 2021. It is part of the Youth Educational and Informational Tourist Centre. The centre now houses a hostel, a restaurant, fully equipped seminar rooms and a conference hall, the headquarters of various youth NGOs and a personal history museum.

The hostel has a total of 54 beds in 15 rooms, each with its own bathroom. The restaurant provides all meals for the guests of the hostel and also offers daily menus. In the backyard of the Stara pekara building you can sit on a terrace with your favourite drink. The hotel has a restaurant, a bar and a terrace, a conference room with a capacity of 145 people, equipped with all the necessary equipment, two seminar rooms with a capacity of 30 people and a meeting area with television.
