CHURCH OF ST. MARC (CRKVA SV. MARKA)
Church with stained glass windows from the neo-Renaissance period with a Gothic portal decorated with modern and monumental statues.
The building of the XIIIth century sheltered for a long time the parish of Gradec. Its architecture has been modified over the centuries. In particular, the Gothic portal is decorated with modern and monumental statues. Some of them came out of Meštrović's workshop (late 19th century), when the roof was covered with polychrome glazed tiles. These bear the coat of arms of Croatia (Dalmatia, Slavonia on the left and Zagreb on the right). The stained glass windows also date from the neo-Renaissance period.
