RUE TKALČIĆA
Go there and contact
One of the most touristic and festive streets of the city, ideal for the meeting of all the youth of Zagreb and visitors.
Built between Kaptol and Gradec, along a former watercourse that separated the town, this street grew out of a stream that dried up at the end of the 19th century. Close to the Dolac market, craftsmen and shopkeepers settled here, followed today by cafés, restaurants and other sidewalk bars, open day and night. It's one of the city's most popular tourist and party streets. Medvedgradska Street, on the other hand, is a quieter continuation of this street. Stairways through green spaces lead up to the upper town.
