KLOVIĆEVI DVORI GALLERY
Tower with a gallery-boutique used as a warehouse with a café on the first floor and a master watchmaker.
In 1242, Béla IV, king of Hungary and Croatia, made Zagreb a free city, behind its defensive walls and towers, completed in 1266. The Lotrščak tower was built to protect the south of the city, along with a small Dverce gate, demolished in 1812 when the Strossmayer promenade was built. From the end of the 16th century, the tower was used as a warehouse with a cafe on the first floor and then a master clockmaker. Today it houses a gallery-boutique (drawings, paintings, jewelry and other Croatian souvenirs). From the belvedere, beautiful view of Zagreb.
