The discovery of Dragutin Gorjanović-Kramberger and his team was of great importance for paleontology. Buried in various sediments of a cave, nearly 900 human bones were excavated. The researchers also collected animal bone fragments and everyday objects. In a museum, opened in 2010, a prehistoric habitat has been reconstructed to better imagine the life of our ancestors.
