A museum recreating life in the old village of Kumrovec, with Tito's birthplace, thatched cottages and a display of farm work.
Croatia's largest ethnovillage! Some 30 dwellings and agricultural installations evoke the life of the region's farmers from the late 19th to early 20th centuries. At the entrance stands a full-length statue of Tito and his birthplace. Historical documents and objects belonging to the Marshal's family are on display. The other houses, authentic thatched cottages, house reconstructions of craftsmen's workshops, antique furniture and costumes.
