MUSEUM OF SLAVONIA (MUZEJ SLAVONIJE)
Archaeological museum that presents historical and ethnographic documents, as well as a collection of traditional costumes.
After the Second World War, the building was heavily damaged by bombing, and the works had to be moved to the Archaeological Museum. Some pieces, however, remained in situ, such as those found on the site of Mursa, the Roman city on which Osijek was built. Historical and ethnographic documents, a superb collection of traditional costumes from the region. Temporary exhibitions focus on the city's regional identity.
