The Vrške takes advantage of its age in the city as well as its new terrace, which overlooks the banks of the Danube. It is also close to the castle and the cruise ship pier. Its privileged location pleases the regulars, who also come for hot and cold drinks. In the kitchen, the dishes remain traditional: freshwater fish smoked in the open air, fish paprikaš, Slavonic sausages, wood-grilled meats, homemade desserts and, to accompany it all, a glass of Iliok wine.

If I gave my feeling of this restaurant: On an island (one passes in front of the imposing ruins of the house of culture destroyed in 1991), a restaurant not to be missed: Buildings drink (they do not have the means of eating there). Recommended: The fish of the Danube (delicious) and wine Iliok (with moderation). You could in 2008 sleep with the historic hotel dunav, but in 2011 this the Soviet style closed for lack of guests...
With vukovar, you do not speak French, English and German, old souvenirs!
