Among the memorial sites (hospital, museum, Ovčara memorial, water tower), the cemetery is particularly moving. 938 white crosses commemorate the Croatian soldiers who defended the town. There are still bodies to be found and identified. The foundation that manages the region's memorial sites is housed in a building to the south of the town. Its educational function is to promote peace. On display are weapons used in the fighting, documents, photos and videos.
