In other words, it is not the fastest mode of transport. However, the Athenian tramway remains very pleasant and serves the entire southern coast and its beaches, starting from Syntagma Square. It runs along the coast of the Irinis - SEF stadium in Glyfada, quietly, without hurrying. You can recognize its stations by its logo: a small tree with green foliage. It takes about 40 minutes to reach the sea and beaches from the city centre. But if you plan to go down low along the coast, sometimes it is better to take a taxi.
