BOROUME
A non-profit organization, Boroumé (ΜΠΟΡΟΥΜΕ means «one can» in Greek) is designed to reduce food wastage while combating malnutrition in Greece. If, as a crisis, many are deprived of food, not all Greeks have as automatic to save unsold supermarkets or street markets. Volunteers then managed to reach agreements with potential donors, chains or farmers, or any other potential donors. After collecting a great quantity of vegetables and other people, they will cook with healthy food and donate them to the streets, to reduce the environmental impact and food insecurity of vulnerable social groups. The positive impact is twofold!
