Located since 1996 near the Kallimarmaro, the emblematic stadium of Athens, this restaurant offers a remarkable setting, in a typical house of the Athenian bourgeoisie of the late 19th century. You will be welcomed by a qualified staff and, in summer, you can sit in the inner courtyard. The specialities of the starred chef maintain a balance between French cuisine and Greek gastronomic requirements. The wine cellar, with its list of wines, is the other secret of its fame among connoisseurs.

Εξαιρετικη Σπονδη οπως παντα. Η συνεπεια στην δημιουργικοτητα, την φαντασια και την ποιοτητα χρονια τωρα. Εκπληκτικη εμπειρια, ενα ταξιδι γευσης πολλων αστεριων.

Η 3η Μαρτίου ήταν η δεύτερη φορά που έφαγα στην Σπονδή. Από την πρώτη δεν μου είχε μείνει τίποτα , γεγονός που επαναλήφθηκε και τη δεύτερη. Η διαφορά έγκειται ότι λόγω ηλικίας & 15 χρόνια μετά ,αυτό με ενόχλησε. Με ενόχλησε γιατί ξέρω ότι με 259€ μπορώ να φάω κάπου άλλου που οι γεύσεις θα με μαγέψουν και θα μου μείνουν για πάντα. Στην περίπτωση μας όμως μιλάμε για ανούσια πιάτα που δεν με έκαναν χαρούμενη που ήμουν εκεί. Θεωρώ αλαζονικό , μη βιώσιμο και υπερφίαλο αυτό το είδος πια.Τα αστέρια είναι για το σέρβις και το περιβάλλον. Δεν θα ξαναπάω πάντως.

Great atmosphere terrible service for a restaurant bragging for Michelin stars and also food completely pointless in taste and ideas , not going again , waste

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Spondi in Athens. From start to finish, this was an amazing culinary experience. Knowing my birth region, the chef even brought me an extra local cheese. Highly recommended.
