Housed in a typical Plaka house steeped in 400 years of history, this café-restaurant is a meeting point for Athenians, especially for Sunday lunch. The perfectly restored and functional establishment retains the atmosphere of the Plaka of yesteryear, without giving in to caricature or compromising the quality of the dishes on offer. In winter, the fireplace promises convivial moments in the indoor dining room, while in summer, you can sit in the little alleyway in front of the restaurant. An address well worth a visit.

Ein Restaurant etwas fernab der Touristischen Massen in einer kleinen Gasse mit hervorragenden Meze. Absolut empfehlenswert sind die Meat Balls mit "The Sauce". Diese köstliche Tomatensauce ist einfach ein Traum. Aber auch die Zucchini Balls sind eine Bestellung wert. Wir hatten den Tisch voll mit diversen Mezes und einer traumhaft leckeren Portion Moussakka und es gab nichts auf dem (zu kleinen) Tisch, was nicht geschmeckt hat. Auch der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ein toller Ort.

Guisos y platos tradicionales y comida realmente casera (tómese de manera positiva) y precios moderados. Sorprende dentro de una zona hiper turística encontrar un sitio como este donde comer muy bien a buen precio.
