Family run tavern-restaurant with terrace in Athens offering vegetarian dishes and varied cuisine.

Family owned tavern-restaurant since 1974. Chrissoula grew up in this restaurant that belonged to her parents. Today, she is the owner of this charming place. You can see her terrace at the corner of Lissiou and Erechtheos streets, which is slightly sloping. But it is in the cosy room with warm tones that we prefer to taste her specialties: fresh fish of the day, mussels, fried food, a wide choice of hot or cold homemade appetizers, fresh meat (not frozen, only squid and octopus are). Various vegetarian dishes.

Dîner d un samedi de décembre. Déco très simple et rustique. Prix corrects ( salade grecque et moussaka ) pour une cuisine de style familial. Cerise sur le gâteau : musique acoustique avec un excellent joueur de bouzouki , qui à lui seul mérite le détour dans cette taverne.

Carte sympathique mais différente de ce que l'on trouve dans l'assiette. C'est moyen et en plus on essaye de nous arnaquer en rajoutant une bouteille d'eau à 5€ et un plat à 18€ au lieu de 13. Il a fallu batailler en anglais contre du grec pour pouvoir avoir le bon prix. Nous avons été relativement déçu.
