A well-known French-language bookshop and address which, since 2010, has been responding to demand from the still very strong French-speaking Greek community, rich in a long Francophile tradition. Passionate readers find a real appetite for French books here, and a real demand from the Greek public. The needs of schools are also obvious. And then, of course, there's the French community and the 10,000 French people who live in Athens and for whom Le Livre Ouvert has become a lively and active bookshop, worthy of the good bookshops to be found in France.
