The Aigli cinema is on the top of the list of open-air cinemas in the Greek capital. It is a slightly fancier cinema than the others because of its location: not far from the presidential palace, in the courtyard of the majestic Zappeion. It is one of the most emblematic cinemas in Athens and its long history goes back to 1910. The first film offered to the audience was the short film by Georges Hatot and Lucien Nonguet, a French silent film entitled Ten Women for a Husband, released in 1905!
