Despite the economic difficulties, the Acropolis Rally, the largest and most world famous motor racing event in Attica and Greece in general, continues to attract crowds, but now only for a period of 6 days. The competition takes place in the last week of May or the first week of June. The starting point is traditionally at the foot of the Acropolis and the finish is in front of the Zappeion. The course lasts 6 days and covers a large part of mainland Greece and Attica.
