The Athenian Pride Market takes place every year in June, and is a celebration of diversity and tolerance.
With the annual parade, the Athens Pride Committee closes a series of actions and events that claim the right to diversity, inclusion and equality for theLGBTQI+ community. The Athens Pride March was organized for the first time in 2005, defying the stereotypes of Greek society and homophobia, with a turnout that was small in number but not in determination. Since then, the March has brought together thousands of people and a considerable number of organizations, making the Greek capital vibrate with tolerance and acceptance.
