STADE OAKA
9 km from the centre, it is simply the former Olympic stadium of the 2004 Games, enlarged and renovated by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. During the Olympic Games, it hosted the opening and closing ceremonies as well as the prestigious athletics events. Like the other installations, it has lost much of its beauty. However, the stadium is worth a visit, if only to attend one of the many competitions taking place there. Currently, it is used as a troubleshooting stadium by the AEK team, whose stadium is in need of renovation.
