Founded in 1975, the War Museum is modern and avant-garde for its time, inspired by Bauhaus art, and traces Greece's military history from Antiquity to the Second World War. Through exhibits of weapons, documents, soldier's artefacts and re-enactments, visitors can step back in time and gain an insight into the milestones of Greek history. You won't want to miss the fighter planes on display in the courtyard overlooking the avenue. Accessible to people with reduced mobility.
