Near the cruise ship terminal, "Le Transocéanien" (Το Υπερωκεάνιον) is a good little seafood restaurant opened in 2010: varied salads, ladotyri cheese from Kimolos, bouillabaisse à la marseillaise (house specialty), grilled sardine and tomato tartines, kritharaki (rice-grain-shaped pasta) with seafood, rice with squid ink, octopus stew with eggplant, sautéed Thessaloniki mussels, cuttlefish with tahini, spaghetti with anchovies... Small terrace. Reservations recommended at weekends.
