Since 1924, this patisserie-confiserie (Χαλβάς Δραπετσώνας) has been making a tahini (sesame cream)-based artisanal halva that's among the most famous in Greater Athens. It is available in small portions or large tins, with pistachios, carob syrup, orange and chocolate, cranberries... Also on offer are cookies, loukoums, tahini, jams, marmalades and (candied) fruit "by the spoonful". Other addresses in Piraeus (next to the Municipal Theatre) and Athens (Peristeri metro station).
