Like many residents of Eleusis, the owners of this tavern (Μαγατζές) are originally from Crete. They offer plenty of good specialties from their island: dakos (tomato and mizithra cheese on large croutons), zucchini flowers or vine leaves stuffed with rice, snails with tomato and bay leaf, pilaf de Crete (a kind of risotto, in this case with chicken), apaki (smoked pork with herbs), pita sfakiani (large pancake with cheese and honey)... Pleasant terrace. Cretan music concerts on Thursdays and sometimes Sundays.
