The museum of Argos exhibits objects found on the different sites of the city as well as on the sites of Lerne and Deirada.
The Argos Museum exhibits objects found on the various sites of the city but also on the sites of Lerne and Deirada (Mycenaean cemetery). The first floor mainly contains Roman copies of original Greek statues. In particular the admirable statue of Heracles, the group of seated Muses or the statue of Athena dressed in a peplos. Outside the museum, don't miss a visit under the portico next door, where you can see splendid mosaics representing in particular the twelve months of the year.
