Remains of ancient Argos, including a large B.C. theater that could seat 20,000 spectators.

At the foot of Larissa hill, this site (Αρχαιολογικός Χώρος Άργους/Archaiologikos Choros Argous) houses the remains of ancient Argos, including a large 4th-century BC theater that could seat 20,000 spectators. In front are the Roman baths (2nd century AD), with high sections of wall and fragments of mosaics. Other remains include an odeon, the sanctuary of Aphrodite and, on the opposite side of the road, the Roman agora.

It is not a very important to see since there is not much. If you are in the corner you can always get there, otherwise it is not very useful to visit. The thermal baths do not have great interest however theatre is relatively well preserved.
However, the visit is free.
