Located near the small cathedral with its blue walls and beautiful 17th-century icons, this tavern with its pleasant terrace serves good Tsakonian cuisine, including dishes featuring tsakoniki eggplant, which has had a PDO since 1977: eggplant salad, imam (melting eggplant with onions and tomato), papoutsakia (the same thing with pork), gemista (eggplant and other vegetables stuffed with rice), fried eggplant, veal or kid stewed in eggplant... Friendly service, good, inexpensive house wine, free dessert.
