This pretty little taverna (Τσιπουράδικο το 50) is, as its name suggests, specialized in mezes to accompany tsipouro. But you don't have to drink alcohol to enjoy good Laconian cuisine here, with a few borrowings from Crete and Macedonia: maniatiki salad (potatoes, oranges, onions and fennel), Magne sausage, pumpkin dumplings, grilled calf's liver, roasted or stuffed peppers, sautéed mushrooms, pork stew (bekri meze)... Good house wine, terrace and French-speaking welcome.
