On Sparta's main street, this small, unpretentious restaurant offers tasty food and a small, quiet indoor garden with plastic chairs. Pork cooked with fresh vegetables (green beans, eggplants) is excellent, as are oven-roasted pork with potatoes, lamb with lemon sauce and fresh oregano, steamed meatballs and local chicken with cheese and onion. The lamb chops are also very good! The welcome is charming and the prices moderate.

This is a delightful place to eat. My wife and I walked in not knowing what to expect. A man (who turned out to be the owner) started talking with us and explaining what food they had. After a little conversation, he said he would make us a lamb dish with eggplant and potatoes. All I can say is that, from first bite to last, it was delicious!
We enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden behind the restaurant looking at the citrus trees and relishing the cool breeze. The owner served us himself and talked with us for a while.
I already told some friends about this place and they enjoyed it too. I'll only be in Sparti for a week, but I'll eat here again before we leave.

Eine typische griechische Taverna. Mit einem sehr schönen Innenhof mit Orangenbäumen. Der Service ist manchmal etwas chaotisch, aber dafür sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten.
