This family-run restaurant (Εν Χατίπι) is located south of the Mangoulitsa River and central Sparta. Warm atmosphere and tables set under the arbor in summer. Owner and chef Michalis Tsangaris and his wife prepare some 30 delicious dishes, using their own vegetables, excellent olive oil and locally sourced ingredients. Depending on the season, try fried zucchini flowers, oven-roasted pork with feta and Tagèyte herbs, braised lamb with orange or trout risotto.
