TAKIS-AÏVALIS CAMERA MUSEUM
The world's largest publicly accessible collection of cameras assembled by a professional photographer from Mystra.
This small museum (Μουσείο Φωτογραφικών Μηχανών Τάκη Αϊβαλή/Mousio Fotografikon Michanon Taki Aïvali) houses the world's largest collection of cameras open to the public: over a thousand of them. They belonged to the Greek-American photographer Takis Aïvalis, born in Mystra in 1934. Rare items include a Kodak bellows camera from 1885, as well as cameras from defunct manufacturers such as Haking (Hong Kong), Anscoflex (USA) and Ensign Greyhound (UK)..
