It's definitely not easy to find the tavern of Kostas Vassiliadis, who hasn't even bothered to put up a sign to indicate his establishment. Or maybe he doesn't need one... It's a nice culinary surprise in the region, though. His wife, Maria, cooks excellent dishes: moussaka with local vegetables, sweet imam baildi (stuffed eggplant) with peppers and olives, vergadi with venison, scrambled eggs with meat... And if you get the chance, you must try his lightly baked, crispy cheese turnovers.
