In the pedestrian street Epaminonda, near the Cadmean ruins, this restaurant (Λαδόκολλα) serves honest Greek cuisine with plenty of fish and seafood: spaghetti with shrimp, smoked trout, pike tails with saganaki sauce (feta and tomato), but also lamb chops, large skewers of marinated veal (kondosouvli), Smyrna dumplings, salads, cheeses, etc. The terrace is pleasant, under the plane trees and a stone's throw from the small central square. Most of Thebes' other restaurants are in the same area.
