Kryoneri beach is the most famous and overlooks the small island of Panaghia. To the south, Piso Kryoneri beach is shaped like a small cove bordered largely by sand. As for the largest beaches, Valtos and Lichnos, both are under attack by tourists. More difficult to access, Aghianakis beach, much further south, is bathed in turquoise water and has the advantage of being less frequented.
