Restaurant with terrace offering regional specialties.

L'Hortus's main strengths are its terrace, untouched by the street, and its garden. The interior is just as beautiful. The tables are set in two rooms. The one at the bar will put you at ease. The second, more intimate, is ideal for quiet conversation. On the plate, the chef draws his ideas from the Auvergne region, with truffade, salad combining cantal and bleu d'Auvergne, and local sausage. But the Hortus also features other regional specialties, such as duck breast with home fries or duck confit.

C'était une bonne table..., mais ça, c'était avant le changement de propriétaire...
Service déplorable, nourriture sans saveur...
Bref un bon conseil a éviter...
Si vous voulez profiter de la terrasse avec sa superbe vue, prenez juste un café.

La suggestion du jour indique langoustines, noix de Saint-Jacques, flambées à l'anis, julienne de légumes
Il s'agit, en fait, de 5 gambas, une brochette de 3 noix de pétoncle, un peu de gratin de pomme de terre, et d'un soupçon de julienne de légumes.
Produits probablement surgelés, farineux et trop cuits, aucun goût d'anis.
Serveur insolent, affirmant qu'une gambas est une langoustine.
Avec un verre de petit chablis
Pour 28 €...

Restaurant qui se trouve à l'entrée de Montpeyroux.
Les plats sont copieux et très bons. Le prix des menus sont correct. Il dispose d'une grande terrasse pour y manger en été, ce qui est agréable.
Par contre, l'accueil est à revoir...

We organised the baptism of our son in this restaurant. We were 30 people. We arrived in 12:45 our table was not set up, they did not expect us! they were not even excursions affirming that a baptism that was made On sundays and not on saturdays! While the good date was written on the sheet of booking! We poiroté 45 minutes outside of time they find us a place! Next to large tables of other guests, it was very noisy! They did not keep the commitments made at the time of reservation and were limit pleasant! And no gesture on the bill, we pay the full price! Very disappointed, we will not go back!
