Pass the northern rampart of Ano Poli to discover the "mur mur" bar-restaurant (Τοίχο Τοίχο). Installed at the foot of a tiny pink building since 1960, this mezedopolio serves wonderful, hearty mezzés to accompany wine, ouzo or tsipouro: fava with caramelized onions, grilled or plain cheeses from all over Greece, fried egg in kavourma sauce (tomato and dried meat), bowl of orzo pasta with chorizo, thin slices of veal or eggplant snack, tomato fritters, salads... Pretty red-walled room and small terrace.

Very friendly staff, tasty food, mostly small plates to share, quiet surroundings and relatively easy to park around there.

Generally fast service and the food was very tasty, next to the old city walls. Parking was also easy to find. Totally recommend it!

Ωραίο φαγητό, comfort food αλλά κ σύγχρονη κουζίνα, καλές τιμές, ανεπίσημη ατμόσφαιρα, πολύ γρήγορο σέρβις. Στα σούπερ συν, τα βυζαντινά τείχη και το πάρκο μπροστά τους που είναι η θέα από κάθε γωνιά.

Erwartungen wurden zur vollständigen Zufriedenheit erfüllt. Das Essen war wirklich lecker, auf jeden Bissen hat man sich gefreut. Das Fleisch war unglaublich zart und alles war sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Der Service war auch sehr freundlich. Ausdrückliche Empfehlung
