This popular restaurant (Τα Μπακαλιαράκια του Αρίστου) serves practically just one dish, bakaliarakia: fried cod. And if it's anything like English fish and chips, it's because it's the same heritage of Portugal's Jewish diaspora. The only difference is that here, it's served with skordalia (garlic purée). Note that the neighboring restaurant Bakaliarakia sto Limani offers the same Judeo-Thessalonian specialty.

Das Essen ist fantastisch! Der Namensgebene „mpakaliaraki“, der Kabeljau, der dort das Highlight ist, muss man unbedingt probieren. Selbst wenn man kein großer Fan von Fisch ist, wird man dieses Essen lieben.
Der Service war super, die Kellner und alle Mitarbeiter sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
Immer wieder gerne, ein super Restaurant!
