The "Club" (Όμιλος) is one of the few waterfront cafe-bars in the whole city. This is the home of the Thessaloniki Nautical Club, founded in 1931 and renowned for its Olympic rowing medallists. As you sip cocktails, sip iced coffee or nibble on snacks, you can watch the boats being launched and watch the Optimists from the sailing school go by. It's fairly quiet during the day, but much more festive in the evening. Next door are the Club d'aviron de mer and the Ciel Bar, with their more boisterous atmosphere.
